ChatGPT Lessons: The Best ChatGPT Copywriting Prompts

Hi Jason, here, and in this video, I’m going to be looking at some of the best prompts for Chat GPT when it comes to copywriting. A few people have asked me, “You know, can you write in the style of this or that?” and one of them was Ada, you know, the classic attention, interest, desire, and action. Well, I decided to have a little look and see what it could do, and it was very, very impressive.

So, the first thing that I did was to ask it to give me a list of well-known sales and marketing copywriting frameworks, and I gave an example such as P-A-S, problem, agitate, solution, and then that you are capable of writing in. So here it is, here’s a list of some well-known copywriting frameworks. We’ve got Ada, which I just mentioned, PAS (problem, agitate, solution). In fact, let’s zoom in a little bit here if I can, there you go. SOAP (situation, obstacle, action, results). These are all very similar in what they do but they’re just kind of different acronyms for them all. SPIN (situation, problem, implication, need-payoff). Never heard of that one. SNACC (situation, need, agitate, soul), that’s a good one. STAR (situation, task, action, and result) and REWIND (what’s wrong and what’s desired), SCORE (situation, challenge, obstacle, resolution, and end result). So pretty impressive list of different ways that Chat GPT can do your copywriting for you.

So what I decided to do was just test it out, and I put, “Can you write a 500-word SOAP for the sales page of my business, Fast Funnels? I need you to write it for a target audience of photographers who are looking for a website builder to grow their photography business.” So that’s what I wanted to do, I’m actually creating a landing page here on Fast Funnels to aim specifically at photographers to pull them in. So this kind of copywriting help that you get from Chat GPT is invaluable for creating landing pages, social media posts, and all of that different stuff. So here’s what it put, and I thought this was really, really good.

It’s broken it down into Situation, Obstacle, Action, and Results, and you can see here it says, “As a professional photographer, you know the importance of showcasing your work in the best possible light. With the rise of digital platforms and social media, it’s more important than ever to have a website that’s not only beautiful and user-friendly but also effective in driving business. Unfortunately, building a website from scratch can be a time-consuming and overwhelming task, especially for those who are not tech-savvy.” So it’s presented that initial kind of what you need, but it’s a real pain to get it, and it’s going to expand on that now.

With Obstacle, “Without a website that truly represents your brand and showcases your work, you may be missing out on potential clients and revenue.” It’s a bit of a fear element in there as well. Additionally, “Trying to navigate the complex world of website building can be a huge obstacle, leaving you feeling frustrated and lost.” My God, I want this service, tell me how you can solve it. That’s basically what this is doing here.

With Action, “Fast Funnels is here to help. Our easy-to-use website builder is specifically designed for photographers like you. With our platform, you can create a stunning professional website in just a few simple steps. Our drag and drop interface makes it easy to customize your website to match your brand, and a library of customizable templates ensures that your site will look great on any device. Plus, our built-in analytics and optimization tools allow you to track your website’s performance to make data-driven decisions to grow your business.” So that’s very good.

And then, the final Results, “With Fast Funnels, you’ll be able to create a website that truly represents your brand and showcases your work in the best possible light. Our platform will save you time and frustration, allowing you to focus on what you do best: taking amazing photos. And by having a website that clearly drives business, you’ll be able to reach more clients, increase your revenue, and grow your photography business.” So if you’re a professional photographer looking for an easy-to-use and effective website builder, give Fast Funnels a try. So what an effort! And I asked it to do the same in other styles. I’m not going to read them all out again, but you can see the WWAD style, which is the “What’s Wrong, What’s Desired, and Action.” So this is really gold content, and if you’re using this, for example, maybe for a funnel, then you know we’re not so focused on the whole “Does it pass AI detection?” problem, which we do with SEO blog posts and so on where we want to literally get caught up in Google and get free traffic. With regards to a funnel, it’s usually traffic coming from a paid campaign that goes to a funnel from Facebook ads or Google ads, and so it doesn’t matter as long as it reads really well like that does, comes up with all of the problems that the target audience might have, then it’s perfect.

So I’ve done the same again with the Ada format and just tried them all out, and I gave it a target of just 500 words. Obviously, you could do more. Now, what I’ve done is to take that kind of knowledge that it’s got about this whole problem that I’m trying to solve for photographers, and I put now, “Can you take the Ada writing and put it into a social media post format, complete with Emojis, also add a call to action at the end to try Fast Funnels free for 14 days?” says burpe. And here it is, you know, it’s done an absolutely perfect post there with a call to action at the end. You know, “Try Fast Funnels free for 14 days and take your photography business to the next level.” So you can see how you can use this for your own business. Your mind should be going crazy right now, thinking, you know, how can I do this? This copy is great. Sure, I could have written this; however, it would take me a lot of time to think, “Right, okay, what would be a good icon, Emoji for this? What would be a good Emoji for that?” and to then come up with everything as fast as this, I’m sorry, no chance, no chance. It’s not gonna happen.

And what I wanted to do now is to humanize this content just a little bit more, and I asked it to write the social media post again, and this time throw in some photography-related humor. And it did actually do it, some of it was a bit like, “Oh,” but, “Oh, this was pretty good.” I can adjust it. Here you go, so it says, “Attention photographers, tired of spending more time building your website than taking photos? Looking for a website builder that’s easy to use as a camera on auto mode? Check out Fast Funnels! With our drag and drop interface, customizable templates, and built-in analytics and optimization tools, building a website will be as easy as taking a selfie!” This is gold, and it’s used as a selfie Emoji there. You know, imagine how long it would take to do all this.

Then it says, “Try Fast Funnels free for 14 days and make building your website as easy as taking a snapshot. Sign up now!” So that is excellent, excellent copy. And what I wanted to do as well is, even though obviously I can think of what to put as an image to go with this social media post, I just asked it the question, “What would you pick as an image to go with this social media post?” It said there that it isn’t an image creation software, but it does suggest, “Use an image that is visually appealing and relevant to the post, such as a photo of a professional-looking website, a photo of a photographer taking pictures, or a photo of a camera. Another good idea is to use a photo that represents your brand or the type of photography you specialize in. You can also use an image of a person using a laptop or a mobile phone to show your website builder in action, or an image of a satisfied customer.” Which again is very, very good. And it says, “Use high-quality images, visually striking, that will grab attention.”

And I then went on to ask it, and this is such a good prompt for any business owner here who coaches, consultants, people like that who are really trying to understand the problems that their clients face so that you can better solve them with your marketing, your product. I put, “What are the main problems and struggles a photographer might have with creating a website to market themselves online?” And this is it, you know, it’s reeled them off, technical difficulties, limited design skills, limited time, the cost of having to hire a web designer, and everything SEO and online visibility. They may not know how to SEO their new website or funnel, and then analytics and measurement. They may not know how to track the performance of their website to see if it’s doing any good for them and actually increasing their business. So it’s come up with all of these difficulties, all of which I can tackle in further social media posts one by one. You know, “Are you a photographer, but you don’t know how to build a website?” Bang, bang, bang.

And so yeah, I mean, you know, there are quite a few haters about Chat GPT, GPT, even out there online. There’s a lot of people saying, “Oh, you know, it’s not as good as this, it’s not as good as that, you shouldn’t be using it because of this.” But the bottom line is, you know, this is early days for this, and I do understand that it’s been in development for a long time, but this is very, very good now. But in a few years, months, maybe even, it’s going to be a phenomenal tool which I think ultimately will present a lot of problems for professional copywriters out there, you know, which I do feel for them. But this is obviously a very changing, fast-changing industry with AI now and what this can do. Obviously, they’re building up a paid version as well at the moment, so I think there’s going to be a lot of people who will definitely be paying out for this because you can do this kind of marketing copywriting for your business in just, you know, a crazy fast way. And you can keep going back and forth as a Chat GPT to make it better and better.

So that was just an example there of the different writing frameworks for copywriting that you can use with Chat GPT. The best ones, in my opinion, you know, these top ones here.
